all the way

Having an office all to yourself is great – but what about when you need to bounce an idea off somebody else? Or want to explore new directions, and find new business contacts? At Bicester Innovation Centre, all you have to do is walk down the corridor. Our community of innovators are more than happy to lend a hand to their neighbours – in fact, we encourage it. So, whether you want to pick the brains of one of our own experienced business leaders, or connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs, we’re here to make that happen.

Our team

It’s not just the people who work in our centre that make it fantastic – it’s the people that work for it too. Our centre team is made up of some really talented individuals, with hands-on experience in helping businesses grow.

Andy
Bedwell

Co-owner / Director

I love working in property – the mix of great people and great buildings really inspires me.  Over the past few years, I’ve developed a passion for bringing old, under-utilised buildings to life in a way that people engage with.  Before working in property, I worked for large organisations predominantly in Leadership and Change management roles – a fulfilling part of my life but one I’m happy to have left behind.

Outside work, I love skiing, scuba-diving, supporting Sheffield Wednesday and spending time with our two boys Dan and Shaun.

Bedwell

Co-owner / Director

Having been a stay at home mum for 10 fabulous years I was ready for something new but it had to build on what I loved while I was involved with kids groups, the PTA and being a school governor…….

Relationships is what it’s about –  with our housemates, our clients, our trades, our cleaners.

I love being part of a community and knowing we are making a true difference to peoples lives.

Jackie

Perch Co-working & all offices

After an early career in retail, I spent 13 years in school business management whilst my children were growing up. I always loved the sense of community and team-work in these roles and I now feel so lucky to be in an environment again at Perch where I am involved in developing a fantastic and dynamic community with inspirational people around me. In any spare moments, I love to travel, read and spend time with my family, whilst persevering at trying to learn Italian…

Perch Co-working

Friends and work colleagues tell me that I’m a ‘people person’ – customer facing positions have always been central to all roles in my career. It’s the buzz of meeting and greeting, being part of a community and connecting with people that I love. Life is busy and I like it that way. I’m passionate about swimming, taking part in charity events and spending time in the country with our two dogs.  Quality time with family and friends over a few drinks, tasty food and lots of chatter is my idea of a perfect end to a busy week.

Naomi

I come from more of a clinical background so being at the ‘heart’ of the centre is my favourite place to be. Being front of house is ideal for me as I get the buzz of meeting and greeting all the new Point of Difference customers plus being able to spend time with the long-standing customers who I’ve built a great relationship with. Perfect! Give me something to sort out or organise and I’m there…and I love a spreadsheet - another little joy of mine!

Outside of work I spend time catching up with friends and family for a natter, and being a weekend ‘football and horse-riding’ mum to my lovely little 8-year-old daughter.

Jess

Meeting new people, having conversations, and building relationships has always been my strength. With a background in both hospitality and account management, I love being part of a community and getting to know people from all walks of life.

You can find me at my happiest when I’m travelling and exploring new places, deep in the pages of a good book, or catching up with friends and family with a glass of prosecco…or two!
