Recruitment for new Bicester care home supported by Innovation Centre
Newly built Wyndham Hall Care Home located at Allotment Way in Bicester has opened its doors to provide 60 residents with a community experience, which will see them enjoy use of a grandparents room for arts and crafts, onsite shop, spa, bistro and pub.
Part of the Maria Mallaband Care Group, Wyndham Hall Care Home received its first resident last month thanks to a positive and on-going recruitment process taking place at Bicester Innovation Centre.
Care Home Manager, Michelle Sides, has been making use of the Innovation Centre’s conference rooms and office space to conduct interviews in addition to completing vital administration to ensure the care home opens on time.
Ms Sides commented: “The centre staff have been fantastic and have become a genuine extension of the team, meeting and greeting interviewees and helping with admin support. The centre really is a hidden gem!”
Wyndham Hall Care Home is currently recruiting for a nurse, domestic assistant, kitchen assistant, clinical lead and maintenance officer. For further information, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Tom Hanney, Centre Manager, Bicester Innovation Centre, said: “Wyndham Hall Care Home is a welcome addition to Bicester and is definitely the only Bicester care home with its own pub! The Innovation Centre team have been delighted to offer our support throughout the recruitment process, which supports the ethos of our centre of helping businesses grow to provide employment to Bicester people.”
Bicester Innovation Centre is the only fully serviced office solution in Bicester and has just over 9,000 sq. ft. of office space ranging from 93 sq. ft. to 1,308 sq. ft. across two floors with a selection of conference and meeting room facilities. The centre also benefits from close ties with nearby Cherwell Innovation Centre at Heyford Park and both buildings form part of Oxford Innovation’s network of seven centres across Oxfordshire (and 20 centres across the UK).
